Besides that Arartinga Tours is a small family-run business focusing on natural history and birding tours in Costa Rica for people wishing to experience and enjoy birds of Costa Rica and nature in general in a more profound and exclusive way. In order to do this we try to offer the less visited natural destinations in Costa Rica and use the more small-scale birding lodges and hotels; after all birding in Costa Rica will be more enjoyed in a quiet and natural environment.

In order for our clientes to maximize their preparation for a Costa Rica birding tour, 3 months before arrival we will send a very detailed information package with practical information, background information and specific and detailed information on birdwatching in Costa Rica and the birds to expect in which area.
- Welcome
Upon arrival our clients will be welcomed by an English prepresentative of Aratinga Tours and given a welcoming package including a detailed road amp of the country, some postecards and a complete checklist of the birds of Costa Rica. Afterwards they will be privately transfered to the forst hotel.
